Things which i've learned from Cinderella Man

So for people who haven't watched this movie yet, this movie is a biographical sports drama film based on the real-life story of the world heavyweight boxing champion James J Braddock and his character is played by Russell Crowe.

this movie portrays perfectly about how's it's like to live in the great American depression, and to do anything just to earn the bread and butter for each day and raising a family with it.

James was a very good fighter, in the beginning, he had everything to live a lavish life, but then things start getting worse when he started losing fights, due to his losses his boxing license was revoked and to support his family he even did manual labor with his injured hand.

His wife was always supportive to him, she was always with him even in the bad days when they don't even have money to pay for their regular expenses including the electricity bills.

this movie shows how a woman can shape a man, and become his strength,
As we have heard that behind every successful man there is a woman.

she used to love him a lot but she was not okay with his profession of boxing and that's why she never went on seeing him fight.

and at final, he somehow gets back to the boxing and finally defeated the seemingly invincible Max Baer (a vicious man who reportedly has killed at least two men in the ring).

So now here are certain things which I've learned from this movie :

Invincibility

If a man decides in his mind and is worked hard cannot be defeated, at least not in his mind.
James managed to win the final fight not because he was the best but because he knew who he was
and what he was into, he never wanted to live helplessly and leave his family in poverty again.

Family And Love

when you have someone to support you, to love you when you needed someone the most is a blessing, and I think this movie shows this perfectly.

James's wife was one of the most inspirational and amazing women I've ever seen.

Believe In Yourself

When everyone was talking behind the back of James about quitting the fight, when even his wife told him to quit, he still fought, and he not only fought he also won the fight against the most vicious man.

So I find this thing quite inspirational.

Calmness

He was not scared of the enemy ahead of him, he gave whatever he's got in the fight with max,
he was calm when max was trying to provoke him.

The Philosophy Of the Movie

James had been through rough times where he did not even had money to pay the bills, he never wanted his family to face those hardships just because of it he even risked his life fighting max.

he even told in one scene 'when I'm fighting in the ring at least i know with whom I'm fighting against. '
this was the most inspirational line I find out in this movie.
